Thomas Flury
Partner
Thomas Flury started his banking career with a two years financial trainee program at Union Bank of Switzerland. He subsequently became an investment advisor for institutional clients and financial intermediaries with Credit Suisse. As a client advisor he joined UBS AG in 1999 and was responsible for the asset management of high net worth individuals in Scandinavia. In 2002 he took over the market responsibility for Denmark within UBS Wealth Management in Zurich and as a Senior Client Advisor he developed investment solutions for high net-worth individuals. Thomas Flury is a member of the Swiss Finance Institute.

 

 

Martin Klöck

Partner
Martin Kloeck started his career at UBS Private Banking in Basel where he developed investment and risk management strategies for private clients using derivatives and alternative investment schemes. In London, he worked for the hedge fund specialists GAM and O’Connor, both members of UBS Group. In 2001 he returned to UBS Wealth Management in Basel as a Senior Special Advisor for derivatives and alternative investment schemes developing investment solutions for high net-worth individuals.

 

 
Malcolm Paterson
Partner
Following his studies at Manchester University, (Faculty of Media, Art & Design), Malcolm Paterson started his professional career at the BBC in 1982 as an Assistant Producer working on a wide range of programme output including News and Current Affairs and Documentary Features. He subsequently specialised in Technology, Media and Telecommunications and in 1990 joined the management consultancy PMG as a Senior Projects Director. He led a series of ‘blue chip’ UK Government foreign direct investment projects working with the Invest in Britain Bureau. In 1997 he joined Global Asset Management, (GAM) leading the Business Technology Group. In 2000 he transferred to GAM's Fund of Hedge Funds Group in the COO role where assets invested in external hedge funds grew from US$2bn to $22Bn. Malcolm was responsible for developing and implementing GAM's investment management systems and process to meet the internationally accredited ISO 9001 standard. The team also won three consecutive international awards for ‘Best Group, based on Investment Process’, from 2004 through 2006. Malcolm joined Signina Capital in October 2006, and he is responsible for all aspects of Signina's Investment Management Process.
